Many RICH Scottish families signed away their country into a so called union with England in 1707 that has rotted Scotlands heart and soul. Now the descendents of these SAME sleazey, corrupt people are upset because the crofters, small time farmers, who suffer feudalistic treatment on this same land can now BUY their land and homes AWAY from their feudal owners.

Robert Balfour, convener of the Scottish Landowners' Federation, signaled an appeal under the European convention on human rights. "Our worry is that it gives one group of people compulsory rights over another group of people's property."
