Monetary autonomy leads to Scottish Labour in-fighting
John Reid and Donald Dewar have openly started contradicting one another over how
much MORE power should be moved from Westminster to Edinburgh.
The Scottish people are sick of being called dependent on English handouts
via the Barrnet formula and financial control over ALL tax issues would be
a welcome move that may well head off many calls for complete Scottish independence.
Reid wants this much devolution to be enough for us poor Scots and an SNP spokesman
said "The only people who can dictate the constitutional future of Scotland are the Scottish people. For John Reid to attempt to go against that would be political suicide."
